Where are you located?


I am located in The Perfect Gown at St. James Polo Park. We are in the strip mall with a lot parking in the front.




Do I need to book an appointment?


Yes, you do! To ensure the quality of the formal fitting, I work by appointments only. Call Trinh at: 204-558-2077. Text messages are welcome anytime. For your convenience, you can fill out the form to book an appointment at my website and email affordeluxewpg@gmail.com if you have further questions.




What should I bring for the first fitting appointment?


-Shoes with the height you are planning to wear on your wedding day. -Undergarments and anything you plan on wearing with your gown. -Accessories to be added to your gown (ie. sashes, jewel, or lace applique...). -I carry natural, push up, or custom bra cups to be sewn to your gown (for an extra fee), but keep in mind that customers who need a good supported bra or corset must have it ready to ensure the accuracy of the fitting. -I encourage you to bring your close friends or family members to get valuable advice and input (maximum 2 guests due to our limited space).




Who should I bring with me for the last fitting appointment?


For gowns with corsets or bustles done, I encourage you to invite your maid of honour to come with you in order to learn how to properly connect the bustle or how to lace corset backs (maximum of 2 guests due to our limited space).




What are turn around appointments?


My turn around is approximately 3-4 weeks. I encourage my clients to book the appointment for the first fitting 8-12 weeks before the wedding for the following reasons: -Allowing enough time for additional adjustments. -Major alterations or transformations that require 2-3 appointments. The earliest you can book is six months prior to the event to save popular time-slots.




Which methods of payment do you accept?


I accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master card, American Express, Apple Pay), Debit, and Cash Payments. All payments are due at the first fitting appointment, but some exceptions may be applied.




Do you have rush options available?


Yes, I always work hard to get the alterations done in a short amount of time to accomodate my clients with last minute plans. An additional fee will be applied on top of the total bill for any work that needs to be done within 10 days.




How much do alterations cost?


Every wedding gown is unique! I recommend booking a consultation appointment for pinning so you will be able to see and feel exactly how your gown will look. You will also be given the precise cost of your alterations at this time. If you wish to proceed with the alterations, a $50 consultation fee will not be applied. If you do not wish to continue with my top notch tailoring experience, you will only own the $50 for the consultation. For basic alterations, take a look at the price range below for a rough estimate Wedding gowns: - Take in side seams from $79 - Take up shoulder from $49 - Hem from $119 - Bustle from $50 Formal dresses: - Shorten straps $17 - Take in side seams $39 - Hem $49 Prices may vary depending on the complexity, the amount of beading, intricate lace applique, width of the skirt and number of layers of the dress.
